There are a lot of cold places to visit in the world. But, Iceland is my top pick when I want to spend my holiday in wide-open spaces and look into vast areas of untouched wilderness. Iceland is the most peaceful country in the world. And, here are the 5 reasons why you need to visit Iceland once in your life.
Iceland is one of the Top 10 happiest countries in the world. All thanks to the country's attitude toward their high-level happiness, the strong sense of community, and social support system made them secure a place in the Top 10 happiest countries in the World last 2023 according to CNBC.

By 2023, according to Consumer News and Business Channel’s The World Happiness Report, Iceland has landed 3rd spot as the happiest countries in the world. It says that it might be a sparsely populated country in Europe, but it’s actually the people who made them in the CNBC annual report. Over 98% of people believe that they know someone they can rely on in a time of need, making Iceland get the highest rate in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), where the average is 91%.

Personally, here are the 5 reasons why you should also visit Iceland once in your life:
There are so many reasons to visit Iceland. We can’t deny that the magical place captures the hearts of every traveler. One of the most captivating sightseeing wonders in Iceland is the Northern Lights. However, it is only one of the best scenic views you can see in Iceland.
1. Blue Lagoon

The Crystal-blue geothermal water with a heat of 102 degrees and is paired with spectacular views of snow-covered lava rocks in every direction. You can wish that the enchanting waters of Iceland will not end the moment.

The milky blue hue of the geothermal pool seems to merge seamlessly with the milky sky above. I feel the stress of everyday life suddenly melts away. As I gaze out at the otherworldly panorama stretching before me, I can’t help but to be amazed by the marvelous sheer wonder of Iceland’s untouched beauty.
2. Aurora Reykjavik

One of the prime locations to witness Aurora Borealis is Iceland. The Northern Lights that only Icelandic can offer is one of the most spectacular shows on this earth and can frequently be seen in Iceland from September through March on clear and crisp nights.
The profound connection you can feel around the cold mountain breeze while looking up at the sky as if the lights were whispering stories of ancient wonders - left me flabbergasted, infinite possibilities it is - as they say.

From fishing, farming, and building homes, Iceland has provided some of the hardest living conditions on earth as people living in the Arctic are quite different from most people living in the world. For example, their food and diet have developed advanced greenhouse and farming technologies just to provide their public demand for fresh natural ingredients that help Icelandic kitchen.
